Frequently Asked Questions

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it’s not as scary as you might think. I put together a quick FAQ to answer some of the most common questions people ask me.

🎨 Q: Do you only see kids?
A: Nope! We see kids, teens, adults, couples, families, and the occasional grown-up who still snacks like a toddler (no judgment, same).
😋

🧠 Q: What kind of therapy do you do?
A: The kind that works with your brain, not against it. I mix neuroscience, attachment theory, play, and stories that actually make sense for your life—not someone else’s idea of it.

🪑Q: What’s the office like?
A: Think cozy couch, a calming view of the water, and enough fidgets to keep your hands happy. It’s a space made for comfort, curiosity, and a little bit of calm—for kids and grown-ups.

📅 Q: Do you offer evening or weekend sessions?
A: Absolutely! Because not everyone’s life fits neatly into a 9-to-5.

💻 Q: Do you offer telehealth?
A: I do! I have a few telehealth spots available for teens and adults—especially helpful for folks outside the local area or who can’t physically make it in. For younger kids, in-person is best so they can access all the cool goodies in the office (spinning chairs, fidgets, art, and more!).

💰Q: How much does it cost?
A: $180 per session, with limited reduced rate spots available for those experiencing financial hardships. Therapy shouldn’t break your brain or your budget.
💵

💳 Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Not directly, but I work with a third-party affiliate called
Mentaya to help make out-of-network insurance claims easier. They’ll guide you through the process to get reimbursed. 🙌

🤷 Q: Is it okay if I’m nervous?
A: Absolutely. Being human can be weird and hard. You don’t have to show up any certain way—just showing up is what matters.

📬 Have a question we missed?
You could shout it into the void… but messaging me is way more effective.
😉

You aren’t broken. You deserve therapy that actually understands how your brain works.

Let’s make that happen.

“We all have our struggles & fears, but no one should fight them alone. Let’s remember to be kind to each other, there for each other & ask for the help we need because everyone deserves to live free, happy & healthy.”⠀
